Last date for application is 3rd July 2024. Tentative date of publishing the merit list is 5th July 2024, 6.00 pm.


Please keep following documents ready with you:

  1. Your passport size photo and signature in .jpg, .jpeg or .gif format (the file size should not be more than 100 kb).
  2. Your Statement of Marks in qualifying examination. (12th Std. marks)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS

Student should give the correct e-mail ID to facilitate smooth admission procedure.

The college offers various programmes viz.:

  • F.Y. B.A. Psychology
  • F.Y. B.A. (English / Economics)
  • F.Y. B. Com.
  • F.Y. B.Com. Accounting and Finance (Integrated with ACCA)
  • F.Y. B.Com. Business Analytics (Integrated with IoA)
  • F.Y. B.Com. Management Accounting (Integrated with CMA)
  • F.Y. B.Com. Integrated (Integrated with Liberal Arts)

However, presently the applications are invited only for F. Y. B. A. English programme

The pre-merit registration charges for one programme are Rs. 1500/-.

The pre-merit registration charges are non-refundable.

A student has to enter total marks of all subjects for which he has appeared (Aggregate percentage).

We do not consider percentage like 'BEST OF FOUR' or 'BEST OF FIVE' subjects.

If the student has entered the percentage on the basis of 'BEST OF FOUR' or 'BEST OF FIVE' subjects, he/she will not be admitted even though his / her name appeared in the merit list on the basis of those marks.

A student is expected to pay pre-merit application charges Online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI.

The reservation under caste category is applicable only to the students from the State of Maharashtra having caste certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra.

Caste category students from other States will be considered as General Category for this purpose.

If a student belongs to any reserved caste category from Maharashtra State, he/she will have to bring the original caste certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra at the time of admission.

Students who do not pay the pre-merit application charges within the given time period will not be considered for the Merit List.

The students whose name appear in the merit list will be sent an e-mail on their registered email ID giving all the details of the admission process.

The details of admission process, date and time period will also be available on our website under the Tab - 'Online Admissions' in due course.

Click on 'Save and Continue' to create a password and answer the hint questions. Then click on 'Submit' to register.

After successful registration, you will get an email containing your SCACFYUG ID and password. You may continue to complete the pre-merit form by entering the remaining details as requested. Once the pre-merit form is duly filled, click on 'Save and Continue'.

Payment page will get activated and student can make the payment with Credit card/ Debit Card / Net Banking/ UPI.

Symbiosis does not accept any Donation or Capitation for the admission to any Academic Programme. Students are cautioned against falling prey to any assurances offered for admissions by any individual or an organization.

All the information pertaining to the admission to the College will be posted on the College website and separate communication will not be sent to the individual candidates.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

1. Students from the 5th Merit Lists will receive invitation email from the college once Merit list is published. Selected students from the 5th Merit Lists can view their results on the college website. They can download the admission offer letter from this result page in which there will be link to fill the admission form. The students are required to fill in the admission form first.

2. Then they will have to come to the College and get their documents verified between 25th June 2024 and 27th June 2024 from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 pm (1.00 pm to 2.00 pm lunch break) and secure their admission by paying the fees on or before 28th June 2024 at 11.59 p.m.

3. Students who have not paid the Pre Merit application charges till 05th June 2024 will not be considered for the Merit List.

4. If the student has entered the percentage on the basis of ‘best of four’ or ‘best of five’ subjects, s/he will not be admitted even though his / her name appeared in the merit list on the basis of those marks.

5. The admissions under the ‘Sports and Cultural’ quota will be offered on the basis of performance of the students in those respective areas.

6. All admissions to FY B.Com. Accounting and Finance (Integrated with ACCA), F.Y. B.Com. Business Analytics (Integrated with IoA), F.Y. B.Com. Management Accounting (Integrated with CMA) and F. Y. B. Com Integrated (Integrated with Liberal Arts) are purely on merit basis.

7. Once a student has opted for a programme and his admission has been confirmed by paying the fees, the student cannot change the programme after the commencement of the academic year.

8. All admissions to B.Com. Regular and B.A. Regular programme are purely on merit, in concurrence with the reservation rules of the Government of Maharashtra.

9. Reservation under caste category is available for students from Maharashtra having valid caste certificate issued by the Government of Maharashtra. If the student does not have his/her valid Caste Certificate, then his / her admission will not be processed under the respective caste category.

10. The College fees will be charged according to the programme, residential status, optional subject selected / allotted etc. Student can check the fee structure displayed on the college website.

11. Though the student has selected the major and optional subject of his / her choice, the subject will be allotted to the student depending upon the availability of the seats.

12. A student is required to pay College fees online through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI.

STEPS FOR SECURING ADMISSION

1. A student who has been selected in the merit list will be able to view his / her merit list status by clicking ‘View Result’ button by using his/her login ID and password, and then using the given link, he / she can get the offer letter for the selected programme.

2. The offer letter contains the link to fill the admission form.

3. The student is expected to fill up the admission form carefully and select the Major and Optional subject. However, the final allotment of the Major and Optional subject will be done at the time of fee payment on the availability of subject and on first come first served basis.

4. Major and Optional subjects once allotted at the time of admission will not be changed.

5. There will be extra fees of Rs. 10,000/- for the subject Business Computing and Rs. 5,000/- for French.

6. After filling the admission form, the student has to come to the College personally for verification of documents. Physical presence of student is mandatory.

7. Verification of the documents will be done only of those students who have filled the admission form.

8. After verification of the documents the student will get the facility to pay the College fees and secure his / her admission.

9. The original copies of the following documents need to be submitted by the student at the time of verification.

  1. Statement of Marks
  2. Migration Certificate – for students from other than Maharashtra State Board
  3. Passing Certificate – for students from other than Maharashtra State Board

In case the original documents are not available, the DigiLocker copy will be accepted with an undertaking that the original document will be submitted within the stipulated time by the student.

Procedure for Transfer of Programme

The student can apply for the transfer of the programme only if his/her name appears in the merit list of programme for which he wants to seek admission subject to the availability of seats for the said programme. This is applicable only to those students who have completed the entire admission procedure along with fees payment of the previous programme.

  1. The student has to make an online request for the transfer of programme from his/her login.
  2. The student is required to fill the admission form again for the programme for which he/she has applied for the transfer.
  3. While filling the admission form, the student has to again select the subjects for the new programme along with the other required details. The student may not get the subjects which were selected earlier for the previous programme.
  4. After duly filling the entire form, the student has to submit the admission form online.
  5. The college staff will then do the online verification process after which the approval process for the transfer of programme will be initiated.
  6. After completion of the approval process from the college authorities, the student can check the payment window from his login to check the fee status (payment / refund).
  7. In case of payment, the student has to pay the balance amount immediately. If there is a refund, the same will be processed by the college in due course of time.
  8. After all the above steps are carried out, the student or his/her representative is required to come to college and submit the hard copies of admission form, eligibility form and the fee receipt of the transferred programme.

Please note that the process of transferring the programme will take one working day.


Counselling Session for F. Y. UG Students

The college has arranged an academic counselling session for all students who wish to secure admission for F. Y. B. A. and F. Y. B. Com programs. The teachers will be available for the students and parents.
