Marathi Drama Circle

The Marathi Drama Circle of Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is a club for all the ardent marathi theatre lovers who wish to explore their passion for acting and other integral dimensions of drama such as script writing, direction and backstage tasks. As one of the oldest and vibrant club of our college, the Marathi Drama Circle has been a grooming platform for award winning, illustrious artists of the Marathi Film Industry like Subodh Bhave, Lokesh Gupte, Bhushan Pradhan, Isha Keskar, Siddheshwar Zadbuke, Srishti Deshmukh and many more of whom we all are extremely proud.

The primary objectives of the Marathi Drama Circle are:

  • Provide students with a platform to explore their talent in Drama.
  • Organise and participate in intercollegiate competitions.
  • Create an environment for students to learn event and logistics management skills.

Marathi Drama Circle actively organises activities such as Marathi Day, Drama Day etc. The Drama Circle also participates in renowned competitions such as Symbiosis Karandak, Purushottam Karandak, Bharat Karandak, Firodiya Karandak and Rangavaikhari Competition to name a few.

Working as a group is perhaps the best experience wherein students can imbibe numerous skills such as teamwork, delegation, collaboration...all this culminating into holistic and multidimensional development.
