Donation and Capitation is NOT required to be paid for admission to any programme of Symbiosis College.
For the A. Y 2026-27, the Admission Process will be fully online. The student is not required to come to the college for getting his/her documents verified. The student will have to upload all the required documents while filling the admission form on the basis of which the college will process the admission. The physical verification of all the documents will be done after the college starts.
New Admission
- All admissions will be based on Merit and as per the Reservation policy of Govt. of Maharashtra.
- The college also admits foreign students (Foreign National, P.I.O., OCI, NRI etc.) to the extent of 25% of intake capacity under the super numeric quota. These admissions are over and above the sanctioned strength and will be processed through ‘International Centre, Savitribai Phule Pune University’.
- Two seats are reserved for students from Jammu and Kashmir State for each programme. These admissions are over and above the sanctioned capacity. The college receives list of selected students from the Director, Higher Education, Govt. of Maharashtra for the same.
- Ten seats are reserved under the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS). These admissions are over and above the sanctioned capacity. The college receives list of selected students from the Govt. of India for the same.
- One seat in F.Y. B.A. and two seats in F.Y. B.Com. per State from the eight North-Eastern Indian States i.e. total eight seats for F.Y. B.A. and 16 seats for F.Y. B.Com. are reserved for the North-Eastern Indian States within the sanctioned strength.

Admission Process (First Year) – 2026-2027
- Admission process for AY 2026-27 will be online. The student is not required to come to college physically, Therefore, please check all the instructions carefully and follow the process thoroughly.
- Pre-merit registration process will start from the month of April, before declaration of 12 standard results of various boards like HSC/CBSE / ISCE etc.
- Student has to register by filling Pre-Merit application form online. The form will be available on our college website.
- Students can apply for more than one programs.
- Students must fill in all the required information in the form, except the 12th standard marks, if the result has not yet been declared. Once the results are announced, the college will provide a 3-day window for the students to update their 12th standard marks in the application. Students must ensure that the marks are updated within this time period. If a student completes the pre-merit registration and payment but fails to update the 12th marks within the specified period, the application will not be considered for the merit list process. Students are therefore advised to regularly check the college website for updates on admission.
- College does not consider percentages based on best of 4 or best of 5 subjects.

- Merit List will be declared in the month of May, tentatively.
If the student's name appears in the Merit List:
- A student who has been selected in the merit list will be able to view his/her merit list status by clicking the ‘View Result’ button using their login ID and password. They can then use the given link to download the offer letter for the selected programme.
- The offer letter contains the link to fill the admission form.
- If the college finds any invalid or wrong document or information at the time of document verification, student will get an email regarding the same. He/she is expected to re-upload the document or make necessary corrections immediately. Therefore, the student has to give the valid Email ID in the application form and is required to check the same regularly.
- The student is expected to fill up the admission form carefully and select the Optional subjects. However, the final allotment of these subjects will be confirmed at the time of fee payment based on availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Optional subjects once allotted at the time of admission will not be changed.
- There will be extra fees of Rs. 10,000/- for the subject Computer Applications and Rs. 5,000/- for French.
- After filling the admission form, the student will get the facility to pay the College fees and secure his/her admission.
- After payment of the college fees, the student will receive their roll number and division.
- The admission of all students will be treated as "Provisional Admission". It will be confirmed only after physical verification of all the original documents by the college authority once the college commences. Admitted students will receive prior intimation regarding document verification.
Note: : The admissions of International Students and NRI Students will be processed through Savitribai Phule Pune University. All such students need to contact to the International Students Cell, SPPU for admission purposes.
