History
Symbiosis, a multi-lingual, multi-national, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary educational complex of international repute, was established by our Founder Director Dr S. B. Mujumdar in 1971.Capturing the spirit of the biological term, Symbiosis was formed to promote global understanding between Indian & foreign students through education.
The Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce was born in 1983, and is one of the 36 branches of the ever growing Symbiosis Society. Excellence in academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, a trail blazing diploma programme in Liberal Arts , accredited ‘A’ grade by NAAC, the Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce has been intensely committed to quality education in Arts , Commerce & Computer Science for the past twenty five years.
Living up to the motto of "the World is our Family" Symbiosis has students from across the length and breadth of the country as also the world. The established magazine India Today June 2008 AC Nielson Org Marg Survey of colleges , ranks our colleges amongst the esteemed few colleges in India.
